These terms apply when you use LYHYT to create or open shortened URLs. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

Temporary service

LYHYT short URLs normally expire 14 days after creation. The service is intended for temporary sharing and should not be relied on for permanent redirection or long-term storage.

Acceptable use

Do not use LYHYT to distribute spam, malware, phishing pages, scams, unlawful material, deceptive redirects, or content intended to harm other people or systems. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, bans, or other protections.

Rate limits and blocking

The service applies creation limits to reduce automated abuse. The administrator may block individual URLs, destination domains, IP addresses, or IP ranges, and may disable or delete short URLs when necessary to protect the service or respond to abuse.

Availability

LYHYT is provided on an as-available basis. There is no guarantee that a particular short URL, feature, or the service itself will remain continuously available.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the destination URLs you submit and for ensuring that your use of LYHYT complies with applicable law and the rights of others.

Reports and contact

If you believe a short URL is abusive, unsafe, or unlawful, use the Contact page and choose Report a URL. Include enough information for the administrator to identify and review the link.
